During discussions, respect other students’ comments,
opinions, and ideas. When possible, make statements like, “I
agree with John, and I also feel that…” or “I disagree with
Sarah. She made a good point I feel that…” or “I think Victor
made an excellent observation, and it made me realize…” (from Ron Clark’s 55)
  • Rule 2
“You will make every effort to be as organized as possible.” (from Ron Clark’s 55)
  • Rule 3  A mobile device management system, such as Air-Watch, will be  in place before tablets are introduced into my classroom.
  • Rule 4  All my students will learn Netiquette and digital citizenry.

Classroom Objectives –

In this classroom technological resources will be woven into the structure of the class in such a way that they blend into  overriding projects.

Different avenues of technological use will be available to suit different student levels of techno-competence.    Perhaps a group of students can explore historical overlays on Google Earth on a smart board to see the progress of World War I from a topographical and geographical perspective, sharing their learnings with their peers, while other students research a prominent WWI leader or general on Wiki.   Other students could be collaboratively creating a timeline using Google Docs.

In this classroom the one-to-one principal will be followed.   Each student will have his own laptop.
